CUSTOMER CONFIGURABLE ROLL TEST ( CCRT ) CONTROL SYSTEM

The CCRT Control system is a third-generation system consisting of cutting edge hardware and software controls. The system architecture consists of two, standard, off-the-shelf PCs. The first PC server controls the vehicle testing in real time. The second PC provides the CCRT client, or graphical user interface (GUI). A single control cabinet houses the control and client computers with the computer display viewable by the driver.

OPERATOR INTERFACE

The GUI can be defined and configured by the customer without assistance from BEPCO, saving you time and money during model year change-overs, software upgrades, etc. Data displays, prompts, colors, language, units and log files, among others, are all configurable without programming. The GUI also supports multiple languages and measurements systems, complete data logging and analysis in graphical format, and simulation mode for training.

In addition, the CCRT client software code is web-centric, using the technologies upon which the world wide web was developed. It also uses the latest technology for optional wireless control and a Pocket PC for static testing and remote diagnostics. This gives you the ability to perform many tests in a static environment up-line of the rolls, significantly reducing  "on rolls" cycle times. In doing so, CCRT allows you to add more test capability without sacrificing production requirements.

Features:
- Standardized control hardware
- Network support for remote operations
- Storage and retrieval of archived data
- Fast cycle times

An optional, hand-held Driver's Pendant allows drivers to enter and access information also. Using the pendant, drivers can select tests and answer prompts, enter vehicle information, and request a retest if the vehicle failed any part of the test sequence. In addition, it can be used to select the proper wheelbase for the vehicle once it is in the test cell.
