Lift & Carry Rim Loader
Model 8140 Lift and Carry Rim Loader for transfer and placement of metered rims
from an in-feed conveyor to the tire mounting line transfer. Four non-marring arms
pre-center and securely contain the rim, raising, transferring and lowering the rim
onto the mounting line transfer The supplied station conveyor includes entrance
metering pins and roller covers to eliminate product surface contact with metal and
at the same time, providing single non contact rim accumulation. This station can
also be arranged to load product not only from the typical in-line fashion but
also 90 degrees to the tire mounting line. This station can be added to an
existing tire mounting / inflating line to enhance automatic production throughput.
Optional - Diameter and width identification is available.
- Rims are secured and centered by 4 point non-marring arms at the outer
rim flange
- Product is raised, lifted and transferred to the main system transfer for
accurate placement
- Diameter and width measurements are stored, transferred and compared to
the tire size prior to mounting - Error proofing

Tire Loader
The automatic Tire Loader meters and loads tires from the Tire Soaper onto
rims located on the palletized indexing transfer.
