Dual (telescoping) or Single Ring Tire Inflator Bell

The Burke E. Porter patented Model 8163 Telescoping, Dual Ring Tire assembly Inflator has no seal rings or actuators that touch any part of the rim face surface. A sealing chamber (bell) is achieved by contacting only the tire sidewalls. A single inner fixed ring covers 3 consecutive sizes. An additional outer telescoping ring covers 3 additional consecutive sizes. Air is injected between the top tire bead and rim edge gap, software controlled feedback loop, determines air pressure requirement, and the upward movement and location of the inflation bell to control the inflation values. Setting of 5 parameters, is easily accomplished by entering through the operator interface screen, based on rim and tire size.
