FELT VLV300 mechanical configuration:
- Wheel-alignment rig has motorized rollers on (4) floating plates with
integrated centering and a pit for toe adjustments.
- On each wheel 2 lasercams(8 total) type Perceptron.
- Front and rear centering devices for proper alignment of the vehicle
during test.
- Automatic operation of centering devices.
- Headlight aimer on floor rails, using centering of wheel-alignment
Roll and brake :
- Single-axle bed (width 700mm) with coated cradle rollers (dia500mm)
interspaced 700mm with 2 AC motors (25Kw) and high performance control-drives
for dynamic tests and accurate tracking of forces.

FELT VLV300 Test cycle
The operator is guided thru the entire test-cycle by messages on the screen.
Part 1:
- Wheel and headlight alignments
- Read barcode or ID from car.
- Adjust wheel-base if necessary.
- Drive car in the wheel-aligner, put SWB on steering wheel.
- The car is centered automatically.
- Headlight aiming can be started simultaneously.
- Run-out measurements start automatically.
- Toe-values on display and adjustments can be started.
- Confirmation of wheel and headlight aiming alignments OK.
- Remove SWB, centering goes off.
- Ready to move to roller-section
Part 2:
- Roll and brake test
- OBD plug to be connected. (if ECU test needed)
Two-sequence (front / rear) roller test:
- Drive car with front-wheels on rollers.
- The selected drive-cycle starts.
- Operator follows instructions on the screen.
- When front-test is finished, driver is requested to bring the car with
rear wheels on the rollers and the rear drive-cycle is started until the test
is completed.
- Car is ready to move out.
