Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our global company’s engineering team. The primary responsibilities of this position would include:

• Lead the development and implementation of product quality programs and product improvement efforts
• Implement quality program tasks such that the resulting product and process is reliable and economically manufacturable
• Lead investigations of failures that occur at supplier facilities, on the production floor and in the field
• Conduct technical data package assessments, PPAP, shipment certification, which may include second tier supplier assessments.
• Demonstrated exposure to production and manufacturing operations and process such as:
   o Machining, plating, grinding and general fabrication techniques
   o Casting, grey, ductile and steel utilizing green, resin and investment casting process
   o NDT, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, test

This position requires a bachelors degree and at least five years experience, strong computer and communication skills. Significant domestic and international travel is required.
