Burke Porter Machinery has leveraged its expertise in Dynamic Vehicle Testing to produce an extremely cost effective alternative to the test track. The Buzz, Squeak & Rattle is a fully mechanical rig that simulates both high and low frequency rattles - that might be encountered on the test track - by increasing or decreasing the driving speed on the specially designed Bump Cam rolls. 
Rattle force is also variable, by simply driving from one side of the rolls to the other because the rolls are paved with bump cams increasing in size from left to right on the drum. And because the rolls are mechanically coupled, no expensive motor and drive systems are required. |
