Burke Porter Machinery to manufacture Dynamometer for OEM in Korea
5/4/04 – Burke Porter Machinery has been awarded a contract
to manufacture a two wheel drive dynamometer for a major OEM in Korea.
The chassis dyno purchased provides an alternative to testing vehicles on the
test track or highway. It will be installed below floor level, allowing vehicles to
be driven onto the rollers and then held in place by a vehicle restraint system.
The dyno will simulate road conditions in the speed, torque or road load control
modes, allowing the vehicle to experience the same forces it would on the test track
or highway.
