6/1/06 - GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Although Burke E. Porter Machinery Company (BEPCO) has been selling and servicing automotive testing equipment in China for over 15 years, they have further solidified their commitment to the Chinese market by establishing a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. BEPCO chose Wuxi based on its location within the Jiangsu Province and its proximity to Shanghai. In order to assist the growing automotive marketplace in China, BEPCO realized the importance of having a physical presence there.

This would allow customers located in China to interface locally with purchasing, manufacturing, project management, and engineering teams of Burke Porter. Therefore in November, 2004, the doors to BEP Wuxi were officially opened. BEPCO Wuxi employs a group of experienced staff consisting of ex-patriots and Chinese Nationals in the following departments: engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and project management. The state of art facility has over 40,000 square feet of manufacturing area which is capable of component fabrication, machining, assembly, and contract manufacturing. Burke Porter's Wuxi facility is fluent in communicating in not only all Chinese regional dialects but also English for the convenience of their customers. Burke Porter views the Wuxi facility as an integral part of servicing the automotive marketplace not only in China but globally as well.
